300x600mm is the most common wall tile size in Australian bathrooms. Laid vertically it lifts a low ceiling; laid horizontally it widens a narrow room. It also works on floors where the range is floor rated.
- Vertical stack: modern and tall, good in Victorian lean to bathrooms with low ceilings.
- Brick bond: a classic offset; keep it to a third or a half as your tiler advises.
