Why choose marble look porcelain

Marble look porcelain gives the veining and depth of natural marble with very low water absorption and, for glazed tiles, no sealing. That makes it ideal for bathrooms and kitchens. Polished finishes suit walls and formal spaces; matt and honed finishes are better for floors.

  • Veining: lay out several tiles together when choosing. Book matched or continuous vein ranges give a slab like look.
  • Pairing: marble looks work with brushed gold, chrome and matte black tapware.
  • Real marble: for a natural feature, see natural stone and marble mosaics.

Buying help

Is marble look porcelain slippery?

Polished finishes can be slippery when wet. Choose matt or honed for bathroom floors.

Does marble look porcelain need sealing?

Glazed porcelain generally does not need sealing. Follow the care advice for your tile.

Will every tile look the same?

No. Good marble looks have several faces so the pattern does not repeat obviously. Lay them out before fixing.
