Meir guide: tapware, sinks, accessories and Meir Mobility

Meir is an Australian brand known for bold, simple designs and a wide choice of finishes. At Porcelana we stock Meir tapware, showers, kitchen sinks, bathroom accessories, shower screen hardware, door hardware and the Meir Mobility range. Browse it all in our Meir collection.

Round and Square tapware

The Round range is the largest Meir range we carry. It includes basin mixers, deck mounted mixers, wall mixers and diverter mixer trim kits. Many wall mixers are sold as trim kits, with the in wall body installed separately, so check with your plumber during rough in. Square offers a more angular look, including kitchen mixers and floor grate shower drains.

Kitchen mixers

Meir kitchen mixers include pull out and flexible models, which are useful for rinsing large pots and cleaning the sink. Read our kitchen mixer guide.

Lavello sinks

The Lavello range covers kitchen sinks in single, one and a half and double bowl layouts, some with drainboards, as well as stainless steel laundry sinks. See our laundry renovation guide for ideas.

Accessories and shower screen hardware

Meir accessories include towel rails, robe hooks, soap holders and toilet roll holders in finishes that match their tapware. Meir also makes glass to glass and glass to wall shower door hinges. Our shower screen hardware guide explains how they are used.

Floor drains

Meir shower wastes include tile insert designs that hide the drain in the floor. See floor drains and read floor wastes and linear drains.

Door hardware

The Oppen and Curvae ranges include lever door handles, flush pulls and cabinet handles, so you can carry the same finish from the bathroom into the rest of the house.

Meir Mobility

Meir Mobility includes grab rails in several shapes and angles, designed to look at home in a modern bathroom. See our care and accessibility range and our guide to accessible family bathrooms.

Finishes

Meir finishes include chrome, matte black, lustre bronze, champagne, shadow gunmetal and PVD finishes such as Tiger Bronze, depending on the product. Our finish care guide explains how to keep them looking their best.

Choosing Meir for your project

Meir suits bathrooms and kitchens where you want a strong finish to carry through tapware, accessories, shower screen hardware and even door handles. Choose the finish first, then check each product you need is available in it. Compare samples at the showroom, as finishes look different under different light.

Matching tiles to Meir finishes

Warm finishes such as champagne and lustre bronze pair beautifully with travertine and sand coloured stone look tiles. Shadow gunmetal and matte black suit white marble looks and grey concrete looks. Read stone and concrete look tiles.

Meir in kitchens and laundries

Carrying a Meir finish from the bathroom into the kitchen and laundry ties the house together. A Meir kitchen mixer, Lavello sink and matching cabinet handles from the Oppen range give a consistent look in every room. Choose the finish once, then check each item is available in it before ordering.
