Tiles and Bathrooms for Lara, Corio and Norlane

Our Geelong showroom at 35A Ryrie St is a short drive down the highway from Lara, Corio, Norlane, North Shore and Lovely Banks. Call in to compare tiles, vanities, tapware, toilets and showers, book a free measure, and get a quote for products only or for installation by our qualified trades.

Getting here

The Princes Freeway and Melbourne Road are the usual routes into the centre of Geelong. If you are coming by train, Lara, Corio and North Geelong stations are on the Geelong line, and Geelong station is an easy walk from the showroom. Times are approximate and depend on traffic.

Practical bathrooms for family homes

Corio and Norlane have many postwar weatherboard and brick homes, often with the original bathroom and laundry. Lara has a mix of established homes on larger blocks and newer estate homes. In all of them, the brief is usually the same: a bathroom that is tough, easy to clean and sensible on budget.

• Floors: matt porcelain in a mid tone in 600x600mm hides water marks and is simple to clean.
• Walls: 300x600mm wall tiles in white or a soft grey keep the cost down and the room bright.
• Vanities: floor standing vanities with drawers give the most storage for the money.
• Toilets: a back to wall toilet suite is easy to clean around and suits most existing plumbing.
• Showers: a rail shower suits adults and children, and a bath stays handy for young families.
• Accessible options: see our care and accessibility range for grab rails and related products.

Laundries, kitchens and outdoor areas

A new laundry sink and mixer with a fresh floor tile is one of the most cost effective upgrades in an older home. For kitchens, browse kitchen mixers and subway tiles for the splashback. Larger Lara blocks often have room for an alfresco, where outdoor tiles with a grip finish are the right choice.

In the showroom

Tapware from Phoenix Tapware, Meir and Modern National, vanities from Otti, Aulic and ADP, stone baths and basins from Pietra Bianca and Madu, and porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone tiles for floors, walls and outdoor areas.
